ALL PATIENTS BULK BILLED with a valid Medicare Card. A fee is payable on the day of consult if we do not have your current details.

Workcover and third party consults charged accordingly with payment required at the time of your initial consult.

Please make sure you bring your Medicare Card and any Concession cards to every appointment.

A fee will apply for certain consultations please speak to our receptionists for more details.




Consultations normally last 10-15 minutes however, if you need more time, please discuss this with the receptionist when making your appointment. All pap smears, health checks, consultations for family members, medicals, first antenatal visits and minor surgical procedures require special bookings.
Please let us know when you book your appointment if you or your family member requires an interpreter service and we can organise this for you.


We are normally fully booked and when a patient doesn’t attend their appointment, it means another patient will miss out.

A fee of $50 is charged for non attendance and is payable before another consult is booked. These fees are non-rebatable through Medicare.

Please remember to cancel your appointment with minimum 4 hours notice prior to your appointment if you no longer able to attend. You may cancel via SMS or calling the Practice.

All cancellations and missed appointments are recorded and an account will be issued when you miss your appointment more than once. Please contact the practice in writing, If you feel you have received a non-attendance fee by mistake or have a genuine reason for missing your appointment.


Provision is made for urgent appointments. If you need urgent assistance please let the receptionist know. In the case of sudden chest pain or major trauma, dial 000 to request an ambulance.


At Aberyfoyle Park Family Practice, we believe in making access to our services as easy as possible. This is why we have introduced the convenience of online booking, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through our website or HotDoc App.

Payment for these appointments will now be required in full at the time of your consult.

The fee for your initial consult is to be settled on day of your appointment. Once you have received your workcover claim no details, subsequent appointments will be charged direct to the insurer. We do need to know, The Insurer’s name, Claim No, Case managers name & contact details.

Patients are reminded that we have a zero tolerance on issues relating to staff abuse. Threatening, aggressive or violent language and behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated and will result in the transfer of your care to another Medical Practice.

We continue to monitor the recommendations from SA Health, State and Federal Government whilst serving all our patients with the same level of care and excellence during this difficult time and you may find some services may be slightly different.

We are focusing on keeping our patients and our staff as safe as possible.

Please note we are no longer offering COVID-19 Vaccinations.


Surgical masks are to be worn at all times on our premises. This applies even if you have a mask exemption.

Our staff are triaging and screening all patients to ensure everyone’s safety therefore it is important that you are honest when answering their questions. These are asked in case we have to make additional precautions to maintain the health of others, our support staff and General Practitioners.

Telehealth appointments are available providing your meet the Medicare criteria of a face to face consult within the previous 12 months. Please note not all telehealth appointments are suitable and you may be asked to come in.

If you have any cold and flu symptoms, please stay home and contact the Practice and request a Telehealth appointment if eligible. Our Receptionists will be able to guide in booking your appointment.

Escripts are available from our Practice and can be sent to you via sms or email. Reception can also fax to your nominated pharmacy.

Information changes regularly and we will do our best to advise you of any changes, however you can refer to the SA Health website and Australian Department of Health for the most up to date information.
